Bad things about brisbane

Is it bad for kids to live in Brisbane? Is Brisbane a good city to live in? What makes Brisbane a great city? It seems every-time they build a new road in Brisbane it has a lovely little toll attached to.

The Perpetually Brown Brisbane River.

The Brisbane River from the Goodwill Bridge. Nicer if it was a little clearer. According to experts, these pests will attack about one in three homes in Brisbane. Termites feed on wood and are capable of literally eating your house and turning it to dust.

Most Queensland houses contain significant amounts of wood and hence are vulnerable to attack. Worse, your home insurance policy doesn’t cover you for the damage! Brisbane was the busiest submarine port in the world during World War II.

Within hours of the attack, ships heading towards Pearl Harbour were diverted to Brisbane.

I mentioned this now because it’s been hot here over the last few days in all of Queensland , very hot. Records were expected to be broken in Brisbane CBD over the weekend , but they weren’t. Brisbane is quite a nice area but expensive and alot of crime and not that friendly for living. Australia as a whole I don’t find to be very friendly reall, after lived in Asia China for awhile, and yes Australian people can be a very racist.

Think carefully about where you live – the traffic can get very congeste and it can take longer to get to places that you may expect. I wouldn’t recommend living too far from where you work as you may spend a lot of your time commuting. In particular Inala used to have that kind of reputation but not so much anymore. Wait, there are bad things about Australia? The worst things about Australia, from being expensive and far away, to its lack of history and insulation.

Australia a long time and have not heard or seen some of those things you talked about! Even though some of those things were silly i must agree with the 2nd one and a few others. Lowest Price in Brisbane. Star, Boutique, Small Luxury Hotels. Much more high density living around the fringes of the CBD.

Traffic is horrific though (as bad as Melbourne and approaching Sydney) and I feel Brisbane is becoming overpopulated. Weather gets very humid in summer from late Oct to March with Jan and Feb being unbearable, make sure you got air-con.

Temperatures this month have mostly been between 25° and 30°C each day. A quick look at a weather website confirms that the highest temperature so far this month in Brisbane has been 32. Complicated tax system and high taxes – Business owners need to get a good accountant and decent online tax software to stay on top of it. Dangerous wildlife like snakes and spiders. Droughts, water shortages and forest fires.

Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland– Australia’s second largest state by area. Within a stone’s throw of each other lie the South Bank Parklands – the city’s premier picnic and lounging spot for families – and the city’s cultural precinct, encompassing the Queensland Art Gallery, the Queensland Museum and more. Find what to do today, this weeken or in October.

We have reviews of the best places to see in Brisbane. There is a lot of information in the walls of our buildings and under our roads, so we’ve come up with things you might not know about Brisbane. You’ll probably get skin cancer.

When there is a hole in the Ozone Layer directly above you, it’s pretty important to take every precaution possible when living in the Outback. Peak-hour traffic can be a nightmare in Cairns, particularly on the Bruce Highway. The roads can become especially congested during peak season like school holidays, so you’ll have to leave a little earlier to make that appointment on time.

Brisbane parents and visitors head to this much-loved reading and activity nook to keep their little ones busy-especially on rainy days, and this is one of the most popular things to do with toddlers in Brisbane. This sunken, glass-walled space is jam-packed with books, puzzles, art and craft materials, and dress-ups. A baby saltwater crocodile will be rehomed after it was found near a creek at Chermside in northern Brisbane.
